Have you ever heard of surfing a guitar,desk or on a door? Well for most surfers if it floats you can ride it.

 

Our surf adventure will take the absolute novice and transform them into riding waves by the end of the day.

 

You will learn to connect to the ocean and experience the freedom and bliss of riding a wave.  Instead of taking pictures and video clips, jump on a board at home and show friends and family your new found surfing skills and if they are nice to you perhaps you can teach them some moves.

Kite surfing

Imagine riding the waves and flying a kite like a professional?  To become a master at Kite surfing all you need is sunscreen, an adventurous outlook and some of the best kite surfing trainers the world has to offer.  You can take part in the world’s fastest growing and most exciting activity.

Kiteboarding is a fantastic sport both to practice and to learn. Your one day
course provides all the fundamentals of kite flying.

Day British Kite Surfing Association Course

The BKSA two day courses builds on the knowledge learnt on day one. It’s all about getting on the board and moving. This is where it gets interesting! By the end of day two you will know all about.

  • Water safety and work
  • Body dragging
  • Relaunch and go
  • Deep water self rescues and pack down.
  • Water start theory
  • Load and launch
  • Coming up and riding
  • Edgeing and riding upwind

From here you will be at a stage where you will have learnt all the nuts and bolts
of kitesurfing, it’s just a case of getting out there and practicing more, either on
more lessons, hiring kit or getting set up with your own.

At the end of the 2-day course you will receive a BKSA certification.

Learn the basics Half-Day Kitesurfing Course

Price: R700
This Initial crash course in flying introduces you to all the different types of
kites you can fly and use for kiteboarding then go on to show the set up, safety
features and basic flying and handling of specific kiteboarding kites. Including
Pre flight checks, the wind window, the power zone and safety systems.

Kite Surfing Modules (Half Day: R700)

 For those pressed for time or want something closer to Cape Town, we offer Kitesurfing taught on a modular basis.

The kiteboarding is usually done at Dolphin Beach, Table View, where the prevailing South Easter blows perfect winds to learn to kitesurf.

Our lessons are taught in 2 hour modules. We recommend 3 modules.

Kiteboarding Module 1: Theory and kite set up, kite piloting, launching & landing.
Kiteboarding Module 2: Advanced kite flying skills and body dragging
Kiteboarding Module 3: Introduction to the board.
